Biota Aquariums has launched their new All-In-One marine aquarium system via Indiegogo.
Customers who purchase a Biota Aquarium buy the full package; a 13.5 gallon tank, LED light, filter, hydrometer, thermometer, biological additive, live sand, cultured live rock, captive-raised fish, aquarium sea salt, glass cleaning magnets and starter fish food. They can also choose optional cultured corals.
Biota Aquariums has devised a four-step process to set up the aquarium with easy to follow instructions. The customer registers their purchase, then sets up their tank with saltwater; then they activate a code to receive their live rock, fish and optional corals.
The whole process from receiving the tank to having a beautiful complete ecosystem with animals can be accomplished in as a few easy steps. You will also receive three fish – two vibrant orange clownfish and a unique Rainford’s Goby.
Co-founders Kevin Gaines and Tom Bowling, scientists with many years experience in ocean conservation and the marine trade, realized that many would-be hobbyists were turned off by the hobby before they got started.
Kevin and Tom are passionate about the benefits of aquaculture for the marine ornamental fish trade and for protecting ocean stocks. The Biota Aquarium only includes sustainably aquacultured live sand, live rock, fish and optional corals, with complete transparency of the supply chain. Fish, rock and corals are all acclimated at the Biota Marine Life Center in Florida.
The All-In-One Biota Aquarium heralds a new era in the marine aquarium hobby. Biota looks forward to working with the saltwater aquarium trade to help address the lack of new aquarists entering the hobby, as well the high attrition rate. [Biota Aquariums]
