Reef Builders has been on a roll lately, going to the ends of the Earth to find you the latest and greatest news from around the aquarium world. From Paletta’s trips to England and Italy, Aquatic Experience in Chicago, Taka-san in Japan, Okabe-san in China, the Reef Builders team is literally criss-crossing the globe to make our readers the most well informed aquarists on the planet. This week we’re still going strong, starting out with DEMA in Las Vegas Nevada, and then ReefAPalooza in Costa Mesa, California.
In case you haven’t heard, we’ve branched out into the diving world with a new website called Reef Divers, where we’ll be covering and reporting on what’s hot in the realm of SCUBA diving and all the associated gear. There’s a lot of crossover with reef aquariums, particularly when it comes to underwater photography. DEMA is the biggest conference for the dive industry and we’re really excited to scope out all the new waterproof LED dive lights, so look out for that coverage on Reef Divers.
We’ll be wrapping up the week with our third speaking appearance at ReefAPalooza this year. If you haven’t heard about our killer trip to explore the corals of Sumbawa, you’ll definitely want to check out this talk, we absolutely love giving it. Of course, being the largest reef aquarium show in the world, we’re expecting to see plenty of new gear, new products, and lots of sweet, sexy corals.
Hitting up all these events is a lot of work, and it’s not cheap, but it’s oh so worth it to bring you the best news. We hope you’re feeling the love out there on the interwebs, and keep it locked for lots of breaking news in the coming days and weeks.
