The JellyTank is a swanky new jellyfish aquarium that just popped up on KickStarter. When we saw that yet another jellyfish all in one aquarium being crowdfunded, we immediately thought to ourselves, “how many jellyfish tanks does the world need?”
Like any good mass-produced Kreisel aquarium, the JellyTank includes a circular display area with gentle jellyfish-safe filtration. You’ll also get color-controllable RGB LED lighting and a stylish design that looks presentable in any setting.
But if there’s one big differentiating feature if the JellyTank it’s the cost. With an introductory pricing of $150 the JellyTank is by far the cheapest option we’ve seen to keep and grow these translucent animals.
That’s half the cost of the Cubic Orbit 20‘s price of $399 and the Jellyfish Art Cylinder Nano at $349. Even at the $200 price point which also includes live Jellies, the JellyTank is substantially cheaper than the incumbent competition, and almost in the impulse purchase territory. [KickStarter]
