The Nisso Micro Heater is a new waterproof and aquarium safe heating element which is among the tiniest we have ever seen. Instead of having a glass tube or a titanium heating element, the Nisso Micro Heater uses a ceramic disc as the element for keeping aquarium water warm.
In recent years, nano aquariums of ten gallons or less and pico aquariums of three gallons or less have exploded in popularity. But one of the big challenges with these tee-ninesy aquariums is that even the smallest tubular aquarium heaters are too large to fit into these tiny aquascapes.
The Nisso Micro Heater with its circular ceramic heating disc is especially designed for these vase aquariums and table top pico reefs. The Micro Heater from Nisso is available in two sizes, a 10 watt and a 20 watt, costs around ¥3,470 or around $38.
