The Australia Aquarium and LFS tour is in full swing over here in Sydney and boy are the videos stacking up. The second LFS to get the Reef Builders ‘review’ is Hurstville Aquariums, a small shop outside of town which is not lacking for products or livestock in any way.
This shop had some of the most fully stocked product shelves we’ve seen in any store, and even turned up a few novel products that we weren’t familiar with before. It’s super interesting to see how the ozzies do their reef tanks, and the interesting ‘local’ animals they keep to stock their tanks.
Hurstville Aquariums delighted us with our first ever face-to-face sighting with the rare Ningaloo Clam from Western Australia. A small remora tried to steal the show with its comical swimming behavior but we still spied a few fancy critters, including a pair of small but precious Anampses lennardi wrasses, also from Western Australia.
