Fish Friendly Dive Hoods
Looking for a new dive hood? We’ve got you covered. Last week we spotted these extra cute dive hoods from a local dive shop here in Colorado. These friendly neoprene hoods jumped right off the rack and begged to be worn.
The bright orange and white clownfish hood caught our attention first and then we noticed a whole line-up of fishy friends. We found a spotted whale shark, a nudibranch complete with pointy rhinophores, and a funny looking hammerhead shark. There were other fish available and even a batman hood if fish aren’t your thing.
The hoods all have small vent holes at the top to avoid a squeeze when descending or a reverse block when ascending. Hoods are great for diving in cold water, for keeping long hair tangle free, or protecting your ears when diving in muddy, murky, or dirty water.
The fish-friendly hoods are currently available for purchase at the Coral Key Scuba Shop in Arvada Colorado, however, if it’s something you just can’t live without try giving them a call, and they may be able to ship one out.
There is currently a limited selection of hoods. Cost for one hood is $54.99 USD.
