SCUBAJET is a sleek new underwater propulsion vehicle for scuba divers and water sports enthusiasts. The handheld thruster is lightweight coming in a 6.6lb (3kg) and can generate a powerful 44lbs (20kg) of thrust with speeds up to 9.9mph (16kph)
We spotted the new SCUBAJET at the Long Beach Scuba Show, and were excited to hear they are now available to purchase in the USA! SCUBAJET first came on the market in 2016 as a Kickstarter project and the company made their American debut this weekend at the Scuba Show.
The SCUBAJET is the smallest dive scooter on the market, and considerable smaller to existing diver propulsion scooter. The compact design, however, does not lack the power necessary to tow a diver underwater and technical divers will appreciate the streamlined construction. The SCUBAJET measures only 58 cm (~22 inch) length and a diameter of 7,2cm (~2,8 inch).
There are two models the SJ200 and SJ400 with the smaller model offering 1-4 hours of battery life, while the 400 will give you 2-6 hours of battery. One of the features we find particularly important is that SCUBAJET includes a travel battery pack that consists of 2x160wh batteries, which are allowed on the airplane.

SCUBAJET is a versatile jet propulsion system that is not limited to diving. The top of the device can accommodate various adaptation kits allowing you to use the powerful jet to drive a boat, attach to a stand up paddle board, or power a canoe. The water sports gear allows you to make decisions based on individual needs or habits by combining motor power and paddling.
