Reef Rax are a line of realistic looking frag racks that are lightweight and mimic real rock. Build from a highly porous resin structure, Reef Rax are so lightweight they are nearly buoyant when it is first placed in your tank.
This neutral buoyancy helps eliminate extra weight that is one of the biggest issues with real rocks for frag racks that require extra magnets to support. The Reef Rax line includes:
Full Size Shelf: This larger shelf is nearly 10 in. long and 5 inches deep allowing up to 20 holes for frags and can be uses on glass up to 1/2 in. thick.
The Original Nano Rack: The first nano rack from RR, measuring 5 in. long and 3 in. deep allowing up to 7 holes can be drilled. Rated for 1/4 in. thick glass.
Nano Corner Shelf: Fitting snug in the corner and measuring in at 5.5 in. long. 4.5 in. deep. Up to 8 holes can be drilled. Rated for 1/4 in. thick glass.
Nano “S”: This one is 4.5 in. long and 3 in. deep. Up to 11 holes can be drilled. Rated for 1/4 in. thick glass.
Nano Shelf: Measures in at 6.5 in. long and 3 1/8 in. deep. Up to 9 holes can be drilled. Rated for 1/4 in. thick glass.
All the shelves come in the option of white, black, grey, brown or a custom purple coloration resembling coralline encrusted live rock. The Reef Rax shelves retail from $55 to $75.
