AquaMaxx is carrying the Sunpole Magnus DC pumps we covered a year ago. They are listed as AquaMaxx VS-Series DC pumps and the company isn’t hiding the fact that these are manufactured by Sunpole.
There isn’t much different from these pumps vs. the ones we covered from Sunpole — same shape, features and colors. But the good news is another quality DC pump becoming available from a North American vendor, especially since AquaMaxx is heavily carried by Marine Depot.
In fact, Marine Depot is carrying the AquaMaxx Magnus VSG-6000 for $199.99, the AquaMaxx Magnus VSR-9000 for $249.99, and the AquaMaxx Magnus VSB-12000 for $299.99.
These are some interesting water movers with all the right numbers and solid reviews so far. We’re hoping Sunpole makes some smaller versions that can be integrated into protein skimmers and other various media reactors where extra control is key.
