Basin Dry Case
We spotted these colorful dry bags at DEMA, perfect for keeping your personal items dry while you dive. The Basin bags are 100% waterproof, and with 20 liters of storage, you could easily fit a camera, phone, and two towels in this roomy bag.
Dry bags are pretty much essential on any smaller dive boats, unless you’re not worried about getting wet. Even if you have a backpack stored under boat seats it’s possible they can sit in a puddle of saltwater, which isn’t always the best idea for electronics.
The Basin bags can also be filled with air so they float. A two-way purge valve located on the bottom of the bag allows you to squeeze out any air trapped inside, or fill the bag with air to make it float. You can also use the valve to drain water, just in case you decide to fill it up with drinks and ice, this backpack doubles as a cooler!
The basin is the perfect carry-on size and has different straps and tie downs for securing the bag to a kayak or standup paddleboard. The basin also has a durable rubber top hold handle and webbing to secure carabiners to the side of the bag.
To secure the bag you just roll down the top and clip the sides together for a waterproof seal. There are three colors available, and we’re really feeling the creative color names, Sunfire, Moonwater, and Darksky. You can buy the Basin backpack on the Dry Case Website for $99.95. [Dry Case]
