Zeagle Scope Mask
Zeagle, a company is best known for the innovations in BCD and integrated weight pockets, has grown to become one of the top equipment brands in scuba diving. But until now they have never produced a dive mask.
The Zeagle Scope Mono and Zeagle Scope Duo come with UltraClear lenses which improve underwater vision allowing up to up to 96% of light transmission. Most dive masks in the industry are made using lower-quality float glass which can have a visible green tint caused by iron particles remaining in the glass after processing.
The new Scope make by Zeagle is made with a soft rubber skirt, which makes for an exceptional fit. We were told when this mask was passed around Zeagle HQ a surprising number of employees commented it was a perfect fit, a feature which is uncommon for most dive masks.
Soft Or Rubber Strap
The Scope comes with a single lens (Scope Mono) or individual lenses (Scope Duo), and a variety of different colors. What we really like about this mask are the interchangeable bands so customers can decide if they want the rubber or softer woven bands.
We love the soft bands, as they avoid getting tangled and pulling at long hair. And while the Z shaped rubber band is eye-catching, I can only imagine long locks being snagged in the z’edges.
The Scope also comes with a form fitting hard case which can be stacked one on top of the other for in-store displays and storage. The Zeagle Scope mask is coming soon and will cost $99.00 for the Duo and $89.00 for the Mono. [Zeagle]
