If you enjoyed part 1 of Mile High Reefer’s video of my 60 gallon reef tank which covered mostly the equipment, then you’ll be very interested to see what animals I keep in this aquarium. The second part of the video spotlights a cross section of the corals in this tank, with a short presentation of a separate tank just for the Black Phantom Angelfish.
Most community reef tanks have an eclectic mix of corals and fish and this reef tank is no exception. The highlights of this reef aquarium population would definitely be the ‘legacy’ or vintage corals that have been growing in aquariums since the late nineties, as well as a small selection of other species which were personally hand collected.
But this tank is not perfect by any measure, and there is some discussion of some issues that are not unique to this reef aquarium display, but perhaps made worse due to the particular way this reef tank is assembled and maintained. I sincerely want to thank Scott Anderson for coming over to feature this reef tank and be sure and subscribe to his channel, Mile High Reefers, as he’s going to be on tap for covering the next big reef show of the year, ReefStock 2018 in Denver Colorado.
