Koral MD is a new coal dip by Brightwell Aquatics which should fit right in along the classic Revive and CoralRX that we’re used to. Based on citrus, pine and lavender extracts, Koral MD is based on a proven formula for ridding corals of pests, parasites, and general cleansing purposes.
Brightwell Aquatics is making Koral MD in two flavors, a regular strength suitable for all aquarists and a professional strength for aquarium stores, wholesalers and coral farms. At 4 caps per half gallon though, the standard Koral MD is half the strength, or double the recommended dosage of Revive – you might go through it quicker but it also makes it easier to mix into the water and harder to overdose.
The concentrated Koral MD ‘Pro’ is 30 drops per gallon which should be easy enough for the commercial coral dealers to remember. Brightwell Aquatics is making Koral MD available in a 250ml and 125ml bottle, good for 13 dips and 6 dips respectively. But if you need to dip more often or larger volumes Koral MD Pro is available in 125ml and 30 ml bottles which are suitable for 83 gallons and 20 gallons of dipping volume respectively.
