The Kessil H160 Tuna Flora is the latest light in the Kessil product line joining the smaller H80 Tuna Flora and larger H380 Spectral Halo II as their third grow light.
The new H160 Tuna Flora pumps out 40W from its DiCon dense matrix LED technology designed to optimize plant growth. in four spectrums — blue, grow, bloom and red.
Part of the Kessil “Tuna Flora” formula is blending the wavelengths that include near UVA and infrared (ranging from 380-780 nm), all designed to enhance photosynthetic efficiency for plants, microalgae and macroalgae.
The H160 Tuna Flora follows the same form factor at the Kessil A160 and is fitted with both intensity and spectrum control knobs. These allow the ability to switch between the spectrums with intensity adjustment from anywhere between 10% to 100%.
along with 0-10V external control making it compatible with most aquarium light controllers.
For optimal control for plant growth, the company does recommend using the new H-Series Spectral Controller allowing for dedicated grow cycles, mimicking daily light patterns as well as and seasonal changes through an “auto” mode.
The light can cover up to a 24 in. area and like other Kessil lights, can be daisy-chained for larger applications.
The H160 Tuna Flora will be available this month with a MSRP of $249 that includes the light, power supply, gooseneck mount and hanging hooks and mounting brackets.
