Reefapalooza, in all its many forms, has become an institution of reef aquarium culture and this year’s Orlando production promises to be one of the biggest ever. Following on the heels of ReefStock in Denver, Reefapalooza Orlando is the first major reef show we’ll be attending this year (which we won’t have to organize ourselves) and we’re planning on having a grand old time.
A dizzying number of booths will be offering great new livestock, hot coral frags, and we’re expecting to see quite a number of new product releases normally reserved for other shows. If you’re unfamiliar with how reef aquarium shows go down it’ll be a bazaar of livestock and dry goods, several noteworthy speakers and a raffle so huge the prizes could outfit and entire fish store!
Since this year’s Reefapalooza is swelling to a record setting size, you’ll be doing yourself a favor by familiarizing yourself with the schedule of speakers and raffle prize drawings, as well as the floorplan so you can find the vendors and exhibitors that you’re most interested in seeing. If you’re traveling with the family you’re in good luck because the event hotel this year is the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld, ideally located a few miles from many attractions including SeaWorld, Disney, Universal, International Drive and many more.
