Red Sea adds 3 year warranty on Reefer series aquariums; 2020 US launch

While Red Sea just announced their new Reefer aquariums in different sizes, a critical update to their line of aquariums is they are now offering a 3-year warranty. Plus, first-time buyers are allowed to register to extend their warranty for another year.
Red Sea has been very successful over the years, launching basic kits for hobbyists as a large segment does not want to piecemeal reef tank setups together. However, other companies have started and are seeking to take market share away, including Waterbox Aquariums, with now an ancient two-year warranty.

The passion of keeping reef tanks has been growing steadily over the course of several years and it is nice to have so many options for new hobbyists and existing ones.

Red Sea let slip on social media the units would be available in early 2020 in the US market; with the company being caught off guard we had spies covering the Aquashow in the UK where this product had been hiding.

To recap the aquariums are named after their sizes in liters, for example, the Reefer XL 200 would be 200 liters. All include an upgraded plywood cabinet and adjustable height simmer chamber with the Reefer 3XL 900 sporting a dual sump system. These names are becoming very long – maybe in 2021, we can all agree to simplify them?
