Last week we featured five nano tanks using #reefbuilders, and couldn’t help but browse the # again only this time for full tanks. Running full-size tanks like these requires dedication, and we can only imagine the time and money spent on corals and maintenance.
We really love the first image from @arteroaquarismo, an interior designer from Brazil. This simple design uses sea anemones, green star polyp along with various mushroom anemones, and a few blue-green Chromis fish. It’s easy to see why this image was featured as a top post with #reefbuilders.
What’s nice about this account is you can scroll back and see what the tank looked like starting with waters and rocks. The simple design is affordable, and it looks to be lower maintenance than an overflowing coral tank. The account give some inspiration to hobbyists that you too could have a tank like this!
Anytime we find ourselves looking for some reef tank inspiration we head over to Instagram. We find ourselves scrolling through what people have been posting under #reefbuilders and we’re excited to see the hashtag has more than 100,000 mentions!
We love to see all the eye-popping tanks, new products, aquacultured fish, and some flaming hot corals come along so please keep sharing! We get really excited when we see innovative new products developed by hobbyists and full tank shots of some truly impressive reefs.
