Pac-Pods is a new preserved food from Reef Nutrition that is rapidly gaining attention as a ‘superfood’ for a broad range of aquarium uses. The Reef Nutrition Pac-Pods are Pacific Copepods with a size range between 500 to 800 microns which makes them an excellent food for a wide variety of small and picky fish as well as our hungry micro-predatory stony corals.
The small meaty food is one of the few offerings that isn’t cultured by Reef Nutrition and instead is harvested right from the Pacific Ocean where it is quickly frozen to preserve freshness and nutritional quality. Pac-Pods start at $21.75 for six fluid ounces but are also available in 12 and 32 fluid ounce containers which all need to be kept refrigerated for maximum freshness and a long shelf life.
