A new company called Aquatees just launched a line of very playful aquarium Tshirts and we couldn’t be any more enthusiastic about the direction in which they are headed. If you’re a regular reader of Reef Builders you’re probably a gear head just like us and have fond memories of some of the first equipment you first used, either in fresh or saltwater aquarium settings.
With this nostalgia in mind the lined artwork of Aquatees’ classic Eheim Canister filter, Hagen’s 802 powerhead and the Aquaclear power filter are shapes and designs that we’ll simply never forget. At present their designs skew only a little bit towards the freshwaterist side of things but there’s also some classy representations of banggai cardinalfish, serpent star, and the essence of a Zebrasoma outline.
The very tasteful design are not loud or obnoxious but are the kind of Tshirt you could sport as casual wear in a wide range of dress codes and we just can’t decide which we like the most, but classic aquarium filters are certainly a great place to start.
