The Marine Aquarium Societies of North America has announced that it is canceling MACNA 2023.
The show was due to be held on September 8-10 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but today MASNA has announced that the well-known show will now not go ahead.
MACNA was one of the first and best-known marine conferences, spanning over 20 years and being held at many different venues around the US. The Marine Aquarium Conference of North America has hosted over 215 expert speakers over that time and shows regularly hosted over 100 vendors.
MASNA has not released a reason for the cancellation and says only that “The MASNA Board regrets to announce the cancellation of MACNA 2023 in Pittsburgh, PA. The Board is working on bringing back MACNA in 2024.”
MASNA is a non-profit organization composed of marine aquarium clubs, individual hobbyists, and industry partners from North America and abroad, totaling several thousand individuals.
