Matt Wandell has been keeping coral reef aquariums since 1999. He has been a professional aquarist at the Steinhart Aquarium at the California Academy of Sciences and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
Matt has a keen interest in developing new techniques for the husbandry of advanced and difficult species of ocean animals. He is currently the Husbandry Operations Project Manager at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, so public aquarium accolades don’t get much higher than that! We welcome Matt to the Reef Builders All-Stars contributor team for 2023, and can’t wait for him to share his wealth of knowledge and experience.
