Go to most places and the corals they will want to show off will be the eye-catching, crowd-pleasing ones like Torches, Chalices, and Tenuis. But the Reef Builders Studio was never just about showing off popular corals, it was about collecting rarely seen, seldom coveted coral genera, to fill in the knowledge gaps and study them, while appreciating them and creating awareness about them at the same time.
Evie dropped into the studio to see Jack Murray and asked him to highlight his five favorite corals in the collection right now, and most of them are corals that people have never seen (and probably never even thought about,) before…
