We always like to break new ground here at Reef Builders, and with previous contributions from Evie, Jen Wanner, and Sara Stevens, and revolving guests and hosts on the Reef Therapy podcast, we got the idea to host the first-ever all-female episode and we did it at Aquashella Daytona.
The aquarium, pond, and reef hobbies are still viewed as overwhelmingly male-dominated, even chauvinistic at times, but there are so many brilliant female reefers, with just as much or more experience than many male “experts,” and with every bit as much passion.
The first ever all-female Reef Therapy is hosted by Reef Builders field reporter Evie Hale, and she was joined by the excellent Sara Stevens, Chelsie Hansen, and Jennifer Wanner. Right from the get-go they talk a solid half hour on all things coral, from trends to OG corals, placement and aquascaping, canary corals, favorite corals, and even nighttime corals.
If you give it a watch or a listen and you love corals like they do, you will not be disappointed. Reef Builders and the Reef Therapy podcast have a very bright future.
