Last week we learned that ICP ANALYSIS.COM is closing its doors for good, so TRITON has come up with a community support measure to help those who ICP test to keep on testing.
How it works
Reefkeepers in possession of unused ICP Analysis tests will be able to buy a “TRITON Transfer Barcode Kit” that can be used to send in their existing ICP-MS test kit from ICP Analysis to be analyzed by the US TRITON ICP lab instead. Users can visit the US Triton online shop where they can purchase the heavily discounted (50% off the normal TRITON test kit price) TRITON Transfer Barcode Kit and it will be shipped directly to the customer.
They then just need to proceed as if they have purchased a TRITON ICP test kit (ie set up an account, connect the barcode, and ship to the US TRITON lab in Los Angeles) and await their results.
NOTE water samples need to be shipped in the original ICP Analysis packaging, using the original vial provided in the ICP Analysis test kit, plus the contents of the TRITON Transfer Barcode Kit. This product is a temporary support service based on recent developments in the US market.
