When Red Sea changed its popular dosing system from seven parts to a controlled ratio 4-part based on calcium consumption, we were keen to try it out for ourselves and get it set up on the Reefer Peninsula display tank in the Reef Builders Studio.
Remy met up with Cris Capp from Aquatic Art in Colorado (who sells Red Sea in his store,) and could talk him through the setup. Although you don’t have to use a Red Sea ReefDose dosing pump, combining the two products unlocks a lot of really useful features like calculations and notifications, and topping it all off with color-coded dosing tubing, tubing clips, and little stickers is the icing on the cake.
