We’re no strangers to exceptional quality, high-end Scolies here at Reef Builders, but this yellow and green example is so bright, unusual, and captivating that we can’t help staring at it.
Pictures were sent to us by Kevin Lu at Coral Supreme in Australia. We’ve already shown off some of his extreme Master Scolies, but in his words “I’ve seen full gold scoly, but two tones of gold with pixels of orange and blue and green spots around the outer edges? That’s next level…”
And we couldn’t agree more.
Starting at the mouth this specimen shows off lemon yellow with lime green spots and striations, leading to a dark brown UFO ring. Next is Buttercup yellow with a darker shade of green, leading to an eruption of orange, green, blue, and almost red on its edge and underside, topped off with a heart shape when it pulls in slightly.
