Reef Builders, the World’s Biggest Reef Aquarium Blog, is celebrating 20 years since its conception. Founded in 2004, Reef Builders’ original mantra was to “obsessively cover the saltwater aquarium industry,” and 14,830 articles, (and twenty years later,) it’s still doing exactly that.
Today Reef Builders is an international media brand with not just a huge website resource but the ReefStock consumer event, the Reef Therapy Podcast, a 120,000-subscriber YouTube channel, merchandise, and of course the Reef Builders Studio, so much of which was created by its late, great Managing Editor Jake Adams.
Two years since Jake’s passing Reef Builders continues to grow, with a new ReefStock location, growing audio, video, and social media channels along with a new, expanding team of writers, editors, aquarists, scientists, and presenters. We are truly grateful for everyone’s support. Here’s to the next twenty years!
