Home Brew Live Feeds a small batch phytoplankton producer based in Texas has recently entered the market as highlighted in the latest ReefStock Denver video. They’re mixing up phyto in a big way – they’re the first on the market to add purple non sulfur bacteria to the same bottle. That means every time you add home brew to your tank you’re getting both phytoplankton and beneficial bacteria in one pour.

They have two primary products on the market – Texas Tea and Margarita. In terms of phytoplankton content Margarita contains Tetramesalis Chuii, Tisochrysis Lutea, and Phaeodactylum tricornutum it retails for $31.99. Texas Tea contains Dunaliella bardawil, Phaeodactylum tricornutum and Cheatoceros calcitrans it retails for $33.99. They currently have another blend called the “Cosmopolitan” on the way.

With fun alcohol based branding the company also offers dealer programs for stores where consumers come in with a reusable glass bottle, pour their own “draft” and can even bring back caps from their “coral cocktails” and earn 2$ back on their next purchase.
