Pink Lights The Way (PLTW) is a community of local breast cancer survivors who connect with those currently in treatment to provide personalized, one-on-one, emotional and financial support. They also provide breast cancer patients with comfort items and uplifting care packages.
Pink Lights the Way is a non-profit near and dear to Corals.com owner, Jonathan Schellhorn. Jonathan’s wife, Megan, was diagnosed with breast cancer in May of 2021. Her treatment consisted of 6 rounds of TCHP chemo/immunotherapy, a bilateral mastectomy, 25 rounds of radiation, and continued immunotherapy treatments to round out a full year. Throughout that time, the family received amazing support from the local community, family, friends and other breast cancer survivors. The amazing support inspired Megan to found Pink Lights the Way, vowing that she would pay it forward and make an everlasting impact on the lives of other local women affected by breast cancer.
