Aiptazer turns your pests into hydrogen gas

By on Sep 29, 2012

The Aiptazer is an interesting aiptasia zapper we saw while walking around here at MACNA. The prototype we saw uses electric current to turn your pest aiptasia into hydrogen gas, completely irradicating them from the system. The nice thing is, the electrical voltage is never introduced to the aquarium doing all the magic inside the waterproof wand. The system allows you to vary the voltage so you can get in around sensitive corals with lethal precision. The wand can be customized to whatever length you like and can even come with a flexible tip. Intersted in one of these? They will set you back about $80 and can be ordered from The Reef Solution. One more image after the break.

agreed. why post info on a product that’s clearly violating copyright laws? original is called a majano wand for those who don’t know.

I’m fuzzy on the whole “aiptasia turns to hydrogen gas” thing…is there a chemical equation somewhere describing this?…lol

The US patent on this device has published and I now have a full US Utility patent which protects the device from being sold by others besides myself. The device is currently being built in the US and is sold through distributers.

I am still confused. Is the one in this article your product, or another knock off stealing your idea/patent?
