Watch the Monterey Bay Aquarium Kelp exhibit and more, live in HD

By on Jan 25, 2013

The Monterey Bay Aquarium is probably one of the most well known aquariums in the US, and is a must see stop for many visiting the area. If it happens to be the case that you can’t check it out yourself, or you already went last week,  you now can watch some of their most popular exhibits live from the inside through the interwebz. There have been live webcams in several of the Monterey Bay Aquarium exhibits for several years now, but it only has been recently they’ve been stepping up their game adding multiple camera views and HD footage.

Live view is available for the kelp forest, open sea exhibit, aviary exhibit, penguin exhibit, Monterey Bay, and sea otter exhibit, but as Aquarists you’ll probably we most interested in the first two. The Kelp Cam can be found here, and the Open Sea cam can be found here. So check it out and dream away while planning you weekend activities.
