We’re not much for hyping new coral strains but there appears to be no limit to the eye-popping coral coming of Australia, and some corals just can’t be ignored. If you’re a faviid collector then you’ve already seen the mystic grape, the pumpkin patch and the baby’s breath favias. None of these can hold a candle to the spankin new Jendub Pot of Gold Favia. The Jendub PoG has a blue grey base, with pink corallite rims, a gold oral disk and an orange mouth. Charles’ photography skills are intermediate at best so if his pics look kind of nice on your monitor, you can bet your anal fin that they will be mind-bending in person. Compared to the going rate for some LE challice strains, at only $60 per polyp this top shelf coral strain is much more affordable. We look forward to seeing what crazy corals will come out of Australia next.
Jendub’s Pot of Gold Favia raises the bar for top shelf Faviids
