On Saturday June 13th, the second annual Bay Area Marine Aquarium Conference will take place in San Jose California. The event will go down from 10:30 am until 5 pm, it is completely free to the public and no club membership is required. BayMAC will be hosted in a large ballroom which is next to the grand Aquarium Showcase. If you’ve never been to the Aquarium Showcase, that store is a treat all in itself and it lives up to it’s showcase moniker; you’ll be greeted by 10,000+ gallons of display tanks within 20 feet of walking in the door. Also, last year the showcase was loaded up on tons of the best livestock with firesale deals across the board. The speaker list is an all star line-up featuring no less than three Reef Builders writers including Richard Ross, Scott Fellman and Jake Adams as well as IMAC West organizer, Frank Burr. Reef Builders will be be representing with the RB Lounge and we’ll be showing off some of the latest aquarium gear and hosting an informal all day aquarium discussion. The BayMAC will host some of the hottest coral vendors and a grand raffle which is not to be missed.
