A few new pictures of the forthcoming Newave pumps have surfaced since we first brought you the image of the NWA 6500. The new propeller-style water pump is currently being marketed by Aquarium Systems Europe in some brilliant fuchsia pink packaging which is likely to change before the NeWave pumps make it stateside, even the name could change. As we previously reported, the NeWave pumps will be availble in 6 models with flowrates from 750-6500 liters per hour with power consumptions between 2.5-11 watts. These value minded water pumps will have a lever-actuated suction cup mount similar to the Ocean Prop from AquaMedic but in the US the NeWave is most likely to go head to head with the Korallia line of water pushers. There’s still no word on a US release but we’ll be looking to MACNA to see if some of these new devices make an appearance at the premier marien aquarium event. Follow the link for a look of the full NeWave line.
