The Reeflo Snapper 18 is the latest addition to the high performance line of Reeflo pump. No sooner does this new machine hit the market than we get a nice hands-on with the pressure centric water mover. As a sponsor of Fragstock 09, Reeflo Pumps came bearing their goods and it was nice to get a feel for the Reeflo Snapper 18 compares to their other pumping products. Just shy of plumbing this water pump and turning it on for real world tests, we did steal it’s soul from more angles than you can shake a stick at. Compared to their larger and weightier water pump, the Reeflo Snapper 18 is lighter than it looks in both the motor and volute department. The one mild annoyance is the 1.75″ thread on the volute for which there are no widely available fittings. At least the Snapper 18 comes with union fittings which step down the native 1.75″ to a more typical 1.5″ slip size. Hit the read link for the full monty of the Reeflo Snapper 18.
