Panorama LED modules from Ecoxotic push 12 watts of colored balanced LED light in a small modular form factor. With two white LEDs for every blue one, we are very excited to see a return to more sane color rendition over our reef tanks. The $99 LED striplight is protected by a water resistant enclosure that should help the unit last the rated 50,000 hours which is about 5 years of average reef aquarium use. The heat dissipation of the Panorama LED module is completely passive through the fanless heatsink that is built in to the unit. The panorama light module comes with mounting hardware and a 12 watt power supply. It will be available next month but they can be pre-orderd from the Ecoxotic website right now. As usual, follow the break for more photographic exposures of the Panorama LED module.
