The hybrid Clarion x Passer angelfish which we first told you about last week is now starring in this brief video that was made shortly before the fish was packed up and shipped off to Israel. We’ve also come to learn that this specimen is about 5″ long (~12cm) and he will probably sell in the holy land for the equivalent of $3000 or more once shipping and other expenses are accounted for. The video also includes some similarly sized full blooded Holacanthus clarionensis so you can see how different this fish is now, although it will likely develop much differently from it’s non-hybrid congeners. If it reaches into late adulthood it may even resemble the super stud hybrid H. clarionensis x H. passer in the image to the right. All fish were captured and filmed by Cortez Marine and we thank them for sharing this video with us.
