The Nano Koralia Evolution water pumps have arrived and we are pleased with the success Hydor has had in developing a tiny prop pump that is both functional and discreet. As you can see from the image above, the Nano Evo Koralias are pretty darn small. To recap, the Nano Koralia pumps are now the 240 and the 425 which will replace the older generation Koralia nano and koralia 1, respectively. Thankfully, Hydor is now using a naming convention which reflects the flowrate of the pumps so the 240 does 240 gallons per hour (gph) and the 425 pushes 425 gph. The Evo Koralia Nanos are both the same size yet they have surprisingly different intake screens and a slightly different shape to the ‘nozzles’. Both models feature a miniaturized magnet/suction cup mount with an equally small ball joint to help direct the flow stream. For the the basic details check out our post about the new nano Koralias from earlier this week and follow the break to get more than an eyeful of the Evo Koralia Nanos from Hydor.
