EcoTech Marine has finally given those of us who like the ability to purchase items online via the company’s new online service parts store. While having companies give friendly service the old school way through a toll-free phone line is a great touch our hectic lives don’t always afford us the time to pick up the phone during normal business hours. Although initially the company will only offer the most commonly ordered service parts, more items should hit the virtual shelves over time. Pumps will not be available at the store and continue to be available only through the company’s retail network. The new online parts service center will go live by February 19, 2010.
According to Tim Marks, president of EcoTech Marine, “We have extremely well-established relationships with our distributors, domestic retailers and online stores. Offering service parts through our website will help keep our retailers’ customers happy–and returning. Our commitment to our retail network is second only to our commitment to the end user.”
For now, the store will provide service to domestic customers only who can order the parts they need 24 hours a day, seven days a week. “Enthusiasts who need a replacement drive shaft or other part are no longer restricted to East Coast business hours,” adds Marks. “They can order anytime from anywhere in the United States.”
Previously, EcoTech Marine only took orders for replacement and consumable parts only through its 800 number.
