This is just a friendly reminder that we’re still running an awesome giveaway for a very valuable reef light. The Io LED pendant includes 75 watts of Cree XP LEDs, full controlability built in display and bluetooth wireless connectivity and we’re giving one away to whomever can send us the best picture of a really obviously healthy coral, fish, invertebrate or both. At first we really only wanted a fish or coral picture but people are sending really nice invertebrate pictures already so we’ll take them anyway. The image above is an actual submission by Jake Harvey, and it illustrates the kind of picture we are looking for with both subjects appearing to be in the prime of health. Jake’s image is the kind we are looking for in this contest so this one is currently among the front runners. Your picture doesn’t have to be a fish and coral in the same image, we just want to see some really healthy reef life. Think you can do better than the image above?
