The convertible Maxi Jet is Marineland’s fancy new version of their Maxijet 1200 water pump that ships with a propeller housing. No longer will you have to buy aftermarket mod kits because now the maxijet 1200, 900 and 400 all ship with a proper propeller pumping kit. In it’s previous iteration the Maxijet 1200 only pumped 295 gph and could run as an in tank powerhead or small sump pump. Now you can take the same Maxijet, slap on the propeller housing like it ain’t no thing and get up to 1300 gallons per hour of pure water flwoing action.
