Jumbo Carnisticks are a new food from Hikari designed for feeding the largest of fish. At five times the size of their previous feeding sticks (311 cubic mm vs 1576 cubic mm ), Jumbo Carnisticks are truly massive. According to the manufacture, one single jumbo carnistick is equivalent to a gold fish in caloric energy. No word yet on the ingredients (maybe goldfish?), but with a guaranteed analysis of min. 40% protein, min 4.0% Crude Fat, and max. 3.0% Crude Fiber it looks quite promising. Although it is designed for fresh water “Monster fish”, it could be a good option for eels and the like, and maybe even frogfish and scorpionfish if they can be trained to eat from a stick or tongs. For more information visit the Hikari website and check out the eel-feeding video after the break.
