AquaticLife’s CO2 regulator used to look like everybody else’s but their new nano model is much more compact and versatile. We were pleasantly surprised to see the cute new compact CO2 regulator from AquaticLife which natively fits a small paintball sized carbon dioxide cylinder. however, AquaticLife had the foresight to make available an adapter that converts from a small paintball thread to a larger standard CGA320 thread found on your average CO2 cylinder.
The nano CO2 regulator is outitted with two pressure dials, a high precision needle valve and an electronic solenoid with an LED indicator in it so that you can see whether your solenoid is on or off. Like other compact regulators we’ve seen before, the AquaticLife Nano reg has the primary pressure reducer preset to provide 25-30 PSI.
This cute little package would be a great match up for that cute AquaMaxx CR-1 nano hang-on calcium reactor we brought you last week and if you ever want to use the regulator with a large bottle, the adapter will help you extend the value of this carbon dioxide regulator. The Aquatic Life Nano CO2 regulator should retail around $120 and the adapter just a hair over ten bucks. More pics of the AquaticLife CO2 regulator when you continue reading.
