If the masked angelfish, Genicanthus personatus, is a fish that just moves you and the video update from a couple months ago wasn’t enough, this morning you’re in luck. Just yesterday the owner of the tiniest masked angelfish ever caught has another video of the progress of the crown jewel of swallowtail angelfish. Instead of swimming unaware through the reef and surrounded by larger angelfish, this time the small personatus angelfish is aware of the environment outside the tank, and clearly trying to elicit a feeding from his owner. If you just look at the personatus angelfish it doesn’t seem that small but once you compare him to his Centropyge tankmates like C. multicolor and C. potteri, you got a feeling for how tiny this angelfish still is – downright pygmy angelfish territory.
