Piscine Energetics just released a new complete reef feeding system as a twin pack of PE Mysis and CYCLOP-EEZE in easy-to-dispense blister packs. You get the full benefit of two great food products in to feel all the fish and coral in your system. PE Mysis are harvested from glacier-fed mountain lakes in Canada and flash frozen on site with no preservatives or additives added. Since they are harvested at night as they eat, they come naturally gut loaded with phytoplankton and are high in Omega 3 & 6 HUFA and amino acids. Now the addition of CYCLOP-EEZE rounds out a highly nutritious and beneficial diet for a wide variety of organisms in your system. CYCLOP-EEZE are a selectively bred and biologically engineered micro-crustacean that are cultured in a shallow arctic salt lake and contain extremely high concentrations of the critical biological pigment Astaxanthene helping to bring out better coloration in your fish.
Just last year the PE Mysis blister pack became available in an individual blister pack and shortly after that is was announced that Reef Nutrition was using PE Mysis in its new Mysis Feast so we are excited to see new things from Piscine Energetics. It has been a while since we’ve seen new products coming out with CYCLOP-EEZE with the Instant Ocean Cyclop-Eeze Gel Packs announced around MACNA in 2009 along with Argent creating smaller frozen packages of CYCLOP-EEZE around the same time.
The twin packs contain one 4 oz. blister package of PE Mysis and one 4 oz. blister package of CYCLOP-EEZE to make feeding easier while preserving the quality of the ingredients. MSRP for the Piscene Energetics Twin Pack will be around $22.99. Piscine Energetics just shipped its first batch of the twin packs to its cold storage facility in the U.S. so they are available here now, just waiting to make its way to your favorite wholesaler or retailer. If you are a wholesaler or retailer looking to carry the product, Piscine Energetics carries two case sizes — either a 20 package case or a 72 package case — just contact your PE representative for more details. Thanks to Robert at Ocean Seacrets for sharing the information and the team at Piscine for filling in the gaps.
