The Mag Float Scrape is a larger, heavier duty floating magnet with a scraping front end like the Mag-Flip. We saw the first version of the Mag Float Scrape at Interzoo in Germany over a year ago when it was called simply the Mag Scrape. This new larger magnet is rated for glass thickness up to 3/4 inches thick (20mm) and it has replaceable steel scraper blades so you can always keep a sharp edge for dealing with the toughest algae and even coralline algae. The Mag Float Scrape is available now with an estimated retail price of about $120 and the replacement blades should cost somewhere around $20 for a pair.
