Atoll Solut is an up-and-coming company from Argentina that is adding some nice looking acrylic pieces to their slowly growing lineup. We touched on the Atoll Solut salt mix a little over a year ago and were glad to see more products coming out showing this South American brand means business. With a media reactor and a kalk reactor line, the acrylic-smithing looks solid.
The Atoll Fluid line of media reactors will hold your choice of media but are geared towards the granular ferric oxide, carbon or bio-pellets. The Atoll Fluid comes in two sizes, the Atoll Fluid 100 (2.4l capacity) and Atoll Fluid 150 (7l capacity), using the upward flow we’ve seen in other reactors. The smaller 100 version is running around $163 USD when converting from Argentina’s pesos and the larger is around $200.
If you are looking for kalk supplementation for your system, check out the Kalk Atoll 100 and 150. The system uses a magnetic stirrer with a continuous motion to preventing clumping and settling of the kalk mixture using a low voltage 12VDC motor. Adjustment is made with a needle valve to get the right amount of effluent. The Kalk Atoll 100 holds 2 liters and will set you back around $293 USD, while the Kalk Atoll 150 holds 6 liters and runs around $324.
We are looking forward to seeing this in person and hoping Atoll Solut makes it out to InterZoo or another international show where we can lay our fins on them.
