The PRS ZR Auto Zeovit Reactor is a mysterious peculiar product on which we have very little to go on. As far as we can tell the automatic PRS ZR zeovit reactor shakes the large zeovit rocks by actuating the inside of the cylinder up and down.
By looking at the design of the PRS Auto Zeovit Reactor we expect the top-loading motor to build up force against the spring, and then release it suddenly. The bounce from the spring should be enough to tumble the zeolite stones, causing some of the biofilm to be dislodged as prescribed.
So far, the automatic zeovit reactor category has featured mostly horizontal designs with a spinning or tumbling chamber like this DIY version or the decidedly more refined Avast Zeolite tumbler. We’d be really interested to see this reactor in action to see if the bouncy spring method of zeolite tumbling is a truly effective one. [PRS]
