Envvy is a new trademark by Eshopps which appears to be gunning for our portable electronics. Recent filings reveal the Eshopps Envvy mark registration to cover “Bags and cases specially adapted for holding or carrying portable telephones and telephone equipment and accessories”.
Since Eshopps already makes ornamental things like peppermint angelfish replicas, along with lionfish and jellyfish, it’s not a far stretch to think that Eshopps could gear up for more utilitarian iPhone, iPad and Galaxy cases. But something doesn’t jive, at least all the way, because there’s got to more to it.
Eshopps has teased the Envvy brand as “bringing innovations to the pet industry” so we expect that the Envvy cases will have a few tricks up their sleeve. Perhaps they’ll be waterproof for the aquarist, maybe they’ll have suction cups to stick on the tank, who knows? Regardless of what Eshopps is doing with Envvy, something tells us that it’ll be good.
