The sixth ReefStock this past March was an overwhelming success and at this point it’s safe to say that we have a good handle on this marine and reef aquarium event thing. With 1100 attendees ReefStock VI was not the largest show in existence but it’s not how big your show is, but how you use it which translates to a seriously fun reef show.
For 2013 we scaled up the venue, brought a ton more vendors, supersized the mega-twice a day raffle to two days and we even did a little coral shopping ourselves; we picked up a nice space invader pectinia from Gonzo’s Coral Frags and a twin Echinophyllia chalice coral piece from The Coral Shop.
An event as large, fun and exciting as ReefStock draws the crowd of usual suspects and Mark Callahan of Mr. Saltwater Tank was on hand to provide his special blend of video coverage. Check out the video of ReefStock 2013 below to see what caught Mark’s eye at the Mile High City and if you are intrigued, consider becoming part of the production yourself for ReefStock 2014, details to be announced very soon.
